So had this a few months now and really enjoying it although not done many miles since lockdown. Feels like a proper muscle car and the 4.0 ltr biturbo engine is a marvel. More muted than the 6.2 ltr but still sounds great. I know some berate the S55 straight six sound but I always felt it was good but you had to be careful in choice of mods otherwise it could actually sound worse IMO. However, something special when you fire up a V8.

Not planning many mods on this one, but there is an overpriced black gloss splitter to go on (MB tax is something else!). Possibly spacers and I'm not going to visit MSL.......

That’s a beast. Need more photos! Having had an RS5 and an M4, I’m seriously considering one of these next. What’s the drive like in comparison to the M3 and what about the interior?

Don’t want to steal @Senna11 thunder here but I can chip in as I had an edition 1 coupe for a short time a few years ago.....

awesome cars, definitely feels heavier to drive than the M4 (most merc’s do IMO) and not as sharp to turn in etc. Straight line speed is ballistic and id say theyre a lot more comfortable than the M4. Plus the sound they make are undeniably addictive.

I used to like planting the throttle at the apex of a roundabout just to see what would happen as the traction and safety gizmos would just sort it out and shoot you off like a missile which was loads of fun!

The interiors are great and I reckon Merc tech is some of, if not, the best going but mine had that horrible ’ipad stuck on the dash’ screen which I hated with a passion, don’t know if they still come like this though....?

Think they do but it’s a wide screen affair now.

A friend recently picked up one in the same colour, really lovely car. The M3/4 is certainly faster, but these are more of a comfy GT really. I'd love both

Paul we need more pictures, and is it faster than an F8x or not, on paper it should be ?

Got a couple of videos on insta, you'd think it would be as they have more power. Must be the weight and the gearbox that let them down

Pre facelift 7g tronic gearbox wasn’t the best but the later 9 g tronic is superb. Really not much in it compared to the F8X DCT.

Real world I don’t think there is much in it tbh although more control with 9 stage traction control. Limited to 180mph. The engine is a masterpiece although I would say the F8X chassis is ahead but we are splitting hairs here. Can’t beat the thunderous sound track though!

Will post some more pics soon, it’s been inside my garage for the last 8 weeks.

I couldn’t do it Paul. There’s absolutely no way I could leave mine sitting for any length of time. Always find some reason to nip out 🏎🏍

Stunning that I just sold my C63s Coupe end of Aug , after 3 years 9 months, it was also BB and I had the rear side flics and ed1 gloss blach rear spoiler, absolutely loved it did loads of road trips and it was faultless and the sound was fantastic.
I just was not getting it used with lockdown and all car meets and cars n coffee cancelled for likely a long time yet thought I would get out and wait to see wait next if prices fall, I may have another yet, I was hoping the AMG GTR prices would collapse so I could get one, or may even just trade the JCW and get one car.
I hope you enjoy your car, any more pics?

Seem to be losing tyre pressure on near side front although can’t see any damage. Seems to be slow air loss.
I have an OEM black gloss splitter to go on which I will fit once the weather improves. Plan to keep this one pretty stock although it is crying out for spacers, just not sure on widths. May go for a MSL map....
