A few of us were talking about this on another thread but I deleted it by accident. Picking this up on Friday. Just had an update from the dealer after I asked them do the standard diamond cut effect on the Competition wheels. I'm all done with the blacked-out wheel look. Especially on a car as big as this. I think it makes the wheels a bit lost and smaller than they actually are. Reckon I've made the right choice. :)

I've got a set of BMS black chrome exhaust tips ready to go on already and LCI tail-lights on order.

I can't believe you deleted that thread!!!

Looking forward to your thoughts after a few days of ownership and of course, the modding which will no doubt ensue...

I'm out on my own loving the all black look, as I now thinks it looks like every other black Competition out there.

Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but very few (non Yanks) owners actually change their wheels due to cost, so it added something for me, but these things always look different in the flesh.

They do look smaller all black though!

Yeah you’re right. It’s kind of a wasted opportunity to be honest but I just think they look bloody good in the standard finish. After going from black to silver on the M4 I couldn’t believe how much bigger the wheels looked and on a car this big you definitely want the wheels to look as big as possible.

Bloody hell that looks nice. What a car (y)

I think they both look nice, so no wrong or right, Silver looks OEM and classy, black look mean and will kill you, but, its probably your fault, why I went for another Black Car !

Picked a blinder there, top spec. How many miles?

40,000 miles on it. Wee bit higher than I'd like if I'm honest but all the lower mileage examples have way less kit. I don't do an awful lot so hoping that it'll balance out.

They will look nice.

They’re a cracking update, but a little like the wheels, lost somewhat on a black car.

When you compare them to a carbon add on, they offer superb value for money.

Personally I think they look even better on a black car as the black part of the light blends in leaving your eye only drawn to the red.

Ahhh - true petrolheadism got all the bits, but the car ain’t home yet👍

How many more sleeps?

Pick up Friday morning. Not been this excited for a car in ages!

Ive only got three seat belts. Need to wait on the other two popping up on eBay (or buy brand new ones if I get sick of waiting)

Lots of pictures required, along with a build update. You are a master at the build thread, always enjoy your journey.

Will do. Just spoke to one of the previous owners that I tracked down online. Seems it’s a good car 😁
