These are growing on me but never been a fan of the frozen paint finish. Well done on your new purchase - think you need to put a ledger pin on your cars as hard to keep up!

Well here it is, I thought well if you are going to have one of the worst to look after paint finishes, might as well have the toughest of them all.

Its held up well really, 10 years old and no bird poo marks, just stone chips and some very light scratches that can barely be seen. Washing it today was a doodle, just a bucket of soapy water and a towel to dry!!

I really like it, the photo's don't do it justice, the lights and reflection shows every lump and bump!! Its not for everyone, but I have wanted a Frozen Edition car and this is the rarest of them all (might be rare for a reason we will see) Anyway here it is:

Carbon eventuri plenum for sale, brand new on another website. Must have purchase for the E9X

Looks greater Boba.

Has the rear glass been given some aftermarket tints because it looks very dark.

Would you consider ppf’ing the whole car to look after that finish? I think I’d end doing so because it would constantly play on my mind.
I’m trying not to care about it to much, on the upside I don’t think it’s good enough to Expel, the car does have stone chips and some fine scratches. I’d rather enjoy it, and worry about it later come sale time.
Looks factory to me. There’s no silvery bits round the edges.
It looks it to me, everything is properly blacked out. Just ordered the original 1 of 27 plaques from BMW, he confident they have a few left.

If the paintwork has 'managed' for the time that car has been on the road, I'd not PPF and just enjoy the thing.

Looks well @boba fett and don't consider it needs much at all - plaque is a great shout.

Thanks, they are not for everyone, but they certainly are different, all I heard so far is nice wrap, and where’s Robin !

That’s exactly what I am going to do, enjoy it

The mods have started, but subtle ones -got Akra exhaust coming, done the spacers, new carbon corners are ordered, halfway through a headlight refresh (I hate that job but worth it) and that will do I think !

Thanks Che, how are you finding the Matte finish ?
It’s ok to be honest. I ceramic coated it with nanolex matte si3d so nothing really sticks to it. My only regret was not paying to have it done professionally as I can see overlap on several panel.
Theres the ever present worry about stone chips and scratches but it does get really positive comments about the colour and finish, plus I know it’s rare which is cool.
Ive had lots of ‘is that a wrap’ comments which is annoying lol!

Holy god, Boba your turning into a car buying machine, very nice in deed, and I would love a matte finish and was close with AMG I bottled it though.
Much respect you just don’t mess about at this car buying lark congrats, I wish some of this could rub off on me:)

Apart from my Rap CD's sounding like I have an Alba head unit, I am enjoying the V8.

Fuel remains shocking (15.9 average;)) and this colour shows everything, I thought gloss black was bad, you just need as much as a greasy finger on it and you are doomed !

From this..

Then a little shower and its back to what its going to look like most of the time !

Then a wash down and clean with the chemical guys Matte detailer and sealant. Its a very easy car to clean and I am very impressed with this product. It takes any gloss out of the paint so the car really is matte with virtually no reflection but light (y)

Replacing trim time, some bits on order, but the first is the Steering wheel trim.

love the difference these wee jobs make. Cheap to do but massive impact. What did you do with the steering wheel trim? Respray it?
