Where has everyone gone its getting very quiet here!!

Meanwhile .....!!

So I loved my 320d M-Sport, great car, but the seats did not go down, something I found out the first time I went to put an MTB in the back. Anyway out went the Saloon and in came the Touring.

I was not sure on Mineral Grey at first, but its growing on me, and looks just like Daytona Grey. Pleased for now, its got a lot more go and its very well equipped and specced.

This is how it arrived home Its pretty clean, but I will be spending a couple of days on it getting it mint and tweaking it a bit!

First jobs - gave it a quick polish then a full interior detail (Got to get rid of someone else's DNA!) Removed stickers and tinting film off rear reflectors. Ordered new dog guard, mirror caps, side skirts and badges, and ordered a new new retrimmed steering wheel!

Oh and did some coding!

Looks great. Wheels are nice and it loons like it’s had some nice tweaks already.

I’m just back from two weeks in Turkey so haven’t been on in a while. Normal service resumed shortly.

An old man estate car!

AKA

A 335d Sport Touring Performance Edition, is its name!
thats what i had before the X3M - great car. 95% of the time it is a match for the X3. And they still look good with only a few tweeks - a bit like what you done really!

Probably a bit late on the dog stuff, but traval are really good

A few pictures and one thing I am not sure on is those Performance side vinyls, they just make the lower side skirts black?? I think the side skirts have given the car a thicker look as its really long looking!

So on or off with the skirt decals??

Black mirrors, and Badges

Very nice, you know it makes sense a 3 or 5 series always looks best as a Touring!

Nice, loved my 330d F31. Keep saying I should never have got rid of it 18 month ago, but it would have been on 160k miles if I still had it now, which I know they'll do, but I imagine it gets harder and harder to move them on.

I fell out of love with the whole m performance kit when it seemed like every independent used bmw specialist was buying the Chinese copies and putting it on all their cars, so my vote is remove the decals.

My god some of you must having been p1ssing yourself laughing at the thought of me taking off those bloody Vinyls, I mean, I have no nails, petrol or white spirit left and my back is broken! what a ball-ache!

Anyway done and looks better!

I’m not a fan of those vinyls on any BMW, I must admit. Car is looking ace.

They have to be one of the most pointless "Performance" add-ons ever, I mean even pin stripes don't confess to be performance related!
