My daughter is in our 1.0 Fiesta. She just called to say it stalled and the yellow low oil warning light came on.
If I go and top up the oil, can the light go off if problem is solved without starting the engine, which I’m worried about doing? Or better off waiting for RAC?

I'd being going down and checking the oil with the dipstick and then adding some if it needs it. Only try to start it when you are satisfied the oil level is where it needs to be.

Thanks Boba. Miscommunication - she tried starting it before I could get there! All lights went off and half way dipstick level, so hopefully all well.
