Got in touch with a Porsche dealer parts department last week. Sent them a diagram with the parts I wanted clearly numbered and asked if these were available to order. "Can you send your VIN please". Did that. "Yes we can order these for you". Spent £300 odd quid on bits only for them to arrive and be the wrong ones. Emailed today. "Oh sorry. those parts in the diagram aren't available to order".
Basically the guy disregarded my diagram the first time and just looked up the VIN an picked the bits already on my car. I'm looking for bits off a different car. Explained this to the guy quite clearly. When I ordered he said the parts would come from Germany and are non-returnable. Still waiting to hear what he comes back with.
Really disappointed as the guy seems quite on the ball and really responsive. Thought I'd found a good resource but clearly not.
