The current car market (6 months into 2021)

What do we think guys, cars have risen in value for various reasons in the last 6 months, when most thought it would be massively around the other way (including me) I obviously don't think its just cars, everything is more expensive at the moment! but lets focus on the motors !

So are we at the point of a changing market, there are some signs that would suggest so. What do you think? Will there be a re-adjustment or will we see the current trends continue?

I spoke with a Porsche dealer that said they were being cautious of taking in inflated priced stock as was concerned values were not sustainable, but it seems consumers think differently at present.
With football feel good factor and other factors driving stuff on, I think it will take a reality shock to see some downward pressure on prices, i think going to hopefully see improvement by year end, into start of new year, but hey that's as good as my speculation.

Bought mine for £29,700 last August. It slumped to £25.5k on WBAC last year but had been rising steadily over the last couple of months. Last weeks valuation was £27,400.

I think there will be some readjustment at some point soon, volume cars will have to resume natural depreciation at least. I still believe if you buy something low volume/special you should be better protected though.
