Had my M4 out for a joyride on Friday night with the roof down. First in ages. Never ceases to amaze me how much the sound of the car seems to be transformed when the top is down.

I have to be honest I still feel a bit self-conscious when out and about in traffic but it’s still worth it just to be able to hear that noise!

@Benno your motor sounds mental. Mustang is still very much a car I fancy at some point. Yellow and black colour scheme is perfect for it too 👌🏻👌🏻

Roof down driving is a whole new experience. Nothing better than taking in all the coastal roads with the top down.

Totally agree. Went out in the sunshine Saturday afternoon for a burn, there's some cracking A & B roads round our way where you can have a bit of fun. The noise with the roof down puts an instant smile on your face.

Must have made an impression - going along the river Severn, came round the corner from behind a hedge row and people on the bank had all turned round for a look! Had a bit of finger wagging off a couple of OAP's as well. That might be cos I dropped into 2nd and booted it past them though.....🤭

Cheers.

Must admit, I do miss blasting around in the M4 vert, roof down and MPE roaring - I will defo try and get another vert of some description again. Probably, the way cars are going, it’ll have to be a few years old to get a decent exhaust note
