Hated Snapper Rocks Blue, best suited to a hairdresser’s convertible.

Hated Estoril Blue - it was the colour of choice for F30 M-Sport and common as muck.

Miss Le Mans Blue, not that I ever had one in that colour but I always liked it.

Estoril WAS the colour mate, only available on M Cars up to E46, and was one of the must have colours! Beautiful colour, and massively watered down by every M Sport there after being in it!

I had a thing about Dakar !

I liked Estoril blue back in the day but it's been done to death now. San Marino Blue is one of my all time favourite colours.

Don't miss this colour, loved it when wanting an M4, then went right off it, and there is at least 3 in my area farting as they go by my house!

Oooft !

Lush, I think id of bought that car off you when you where selling it!

It was bought (after I traded it in) by a guy in Northern Ireland who smashed it off the Armco on a motorway and wrote it off. Real shame as it was a lovely car.

When I sold the M4, a guy came to collected a couple of bits I was selling and he had an M3 in this colour. Yas Marina Blue isn't it? It was a sunny day and his car was immaculate. It looked absolutely stunning but I think it works better on the saloon than it does the coupe and in dull weather it's not quite as attractive.

That was a very clean M4 you had @boba fett it's a shame you didn't gel with it.

It was a beauty, but not for me, much prefer the V8.

Funny enough, I was out yesterday picking up a new bike, and I saw an E92 M3 in Space grey (the guy was giving it large on the M25 probably because I have an M3 number plate on a 320d) it had an exhaust mod done and it sounded epic, but most of all the way it looked. Don't see many on the road but they look so fat with all the arches that look so much wider when rolling! It did look really good, one of those "I've got one of them" moments!!

It just made me think I am not getting rid of mine !

Anyway Frozen black, its love it, or hate it time !! I don't love it and in pictures it looks a bit Meh, but in person and seeing it on the road it look lovely, mean as hell and different!

That first picture of it, is stunning. Class colour combo as well. With regards to YAS Marina Blue, what I am trying to say is I find it a bit chavy now!

laguna Seca blue is probably still right up there for me, remember when I first saw it on an e46, loved it!

Petrol Mica is another stunning colour, only seen it once but it was lovely!

I loved my estorill blue F31, though agree that it was far too common, mainly in the saloons thoughScreenshot_20220314_190710.jpg

I like Estoril Blue, but it is too common now. It's actually no more common than Black, white or Grey, but it's very distinctive. A friend had his F80 M3 in Hera Mica blue and that was lovely. A dark blue, not unlike Gentian Blue that Porsche do, but stunning in the sun.
I too liked Le Mans blue, and also Avus Blue on the E36s.
I don't understand why BMW sticks with Sapphire black - it's one of the most boring blacks around, always looks a bit dirty, and doesn't sparkle unless it's clean, polished, and a sunny day. Carbon black and Ruby Blac are much more interesting.
I like subtle colours, so will always like Silverstone, but I think the shade used on the E92 was perhaps darker and better?

I agree, Mineral white isn't the best white, and certainly much prefer the Carrara White metallic of my GT4.

I used to love Imola Red on an E46 M3. Probably the only flat paint I would consider.
