Confirmed the next 718 will be all electric. Everyone's thoughts?

Guess it was going to be inevitable.

Porsche has announced the next-generation 718 Boxster and Cayman will debut in 2025 exclusively as all-electric sports cars. The 911 Hybrid is also coming.

It’s inevitable, I suppose.

I’m not against EVs. I’ve never actually driven one yet but I need a bit of time to get used to the idea that a sports car like the Cayman has an electric motor in it.

The thing is I still don't think EV is the answer, it will be like when we where all told to buy diesels and Petrol was terrible! its to do with the battery's, You watch this space !

All I can say is that residual prices of 6 cylinder Boxsters and Caymans are only going one way, and it isn't down.
