LOL - Yep just a nut on the steering column at the moment. It looks like the Carbon steering wheel is faulty and parts can't be changed out, as its a sealed unit. 😢

Guys a little advice, the Manetino switch ECU is dead in my Carbon Steering wheel, I need to switch out my Electrics from my working wheel. I have asked around a few Ferrari Specialists and none have attempted it. However I stumbled on this "how to" and it looks pretty straight forward.

My question is, would you do it ? here is the video:

Thanks for any advice in advance...(y)

Have you tried DK engineering to see if they can fix your steering wheel?

Looks straightforward enough. Changed the steering wheel and wiring on my car. Just take your time.

Yeh i'd give that a go, looks easier than fitting an F80 wheel tbh.

I'm probably not as handy as you !!
You will be fine. Just have all the tools ready on the bench, IPad in front of you and take your time. If any electronics are suspect then they need to be tested by someone who can use an oscilloscope.

Looks like it's a doable weekend project that, and you can use the " don't disturb me for a few hours because this is technical" and then you got the 3 hour test drive once completed to iron out any gremlins. think it should be Covid exempt for the carbon offset of the wheel.

LOL - I agree - Its essential work, not sure if 3 hours is enough either !

The more you delve into the development of this car, the more I like it, the styling is a celebration from other Milestone Ferraris, like Enzo Rear end, Testarrosso Wing Mirrors, Ferrari Shark Nose F1 car front end etc. Its also many firsts and many lasts of its type. I have never looked at it from this perspective before !!
