I am pretty much ready to make the move. Range is good enough. Some have sufficient tow weight (although towing range would be a struggle).

Company SalSac scheme about to get launched and BiK is the sweetener.

BUT, would i want EV for a toy / weekend car:unsure:

Think it depends on the type of car rather than the power train. I’ve only driven the Taycan but on the road it didn’t feel any different than an ICE car. So if they can do that, there’s no reason why a weekend toy that’s fun to drive can’t be an EV as well.

I’ve no doubt that if anyone can make an engaging performance car then BMW M are in prime position to do it. Look at how successful their take on 4wd has been for example.

Personally, I’m ready to make the move as well, more so for the financial benefits (M5 is 230 miles per tank at £110) but I’ll be keeping my TTS as the weekend toy.
