+1 for moonstone. I would keep it as is, i think it looks great against the matt paint 👌

Cheers guys, and thanks for all the help and opinions. Black is staying. Then I picked up some black wheel centre caps and black bolts and fitted my spacers!

Agree I prefer the black too.

I'd ask Moonstone to do the photoshop with black wheels, silver mirrors, just to see and annoy him

Looks a whopper with spacers mate.

Black centrecaps are what the last owner should have done when he got the wheels done in black. Makes a big difference.

Right decision there I think. Red and black looks great and the matte paint is a nice twist on that popular theme.

Those ceramics look identical to the ones on the R8. Bet they're the same parts.

I would imagine so. They look lovely and the callipers are huge, even compared to the CS.

Love that colour. Must be very rare. These have been about for a while obviously but I’ve never seen another one like it. Online or otherwise.

Ha, I'm not keen on long life services with these high performance lumps, this RS4 has got full Audi Service history and I just rung up to have an oil service done, (last service 10 months and 6k miles) now I confirmed I just wanted an oil change, so thats just the oil and filter as I like the oil changed every year ( confirmed 9 litres of Castrol edge 504 5w-30 and filter)

£544 !!!!

WTF !

They’ve quoted you for an oil change and inspection surely?
That’s the biggest con on the r8 I think, they charge £350 more to basically change the pollen filter. Yeah it’s a pita job but you can buy it for £25 and change yourself if you can be bothered 👍
The other bits they list (other than the road test) are all the 32 point free health check!
Im going to just book the oil service each year now and save £325.

I didn’t even get the Audi cam last year and it’s all panels underneath so what kind of visual inspection or they doing?? Think I’ll do the same as you @Che

Mines booked in now and they said there new service child misunderstood and quoted for the pollen filter as well, even though I stated 3 times I just want the oil and filter changed.

£350 is still outrageous, as I can get it done for £180 from my specialist, and will probably do a better job, however, I'm basically paying £170 for the Audi stamp!

Expensive ink indeed!
