An unusual purchase !

I wouldn’t get a V8 R8, they are just not good enough, it will always be the original, but it’s old, looks old inside and out, drives old and is not fast enough. I only drove one a few weeks back, and god it was disappointing !Buy one for the gated manual only, and maybe with an exhaust I like the V8 noise more than the V10.

4.5 seconds on the v8 vs 3.8 on the v10 and 3.6 on the v10 Performance. Problem is you’re looking at £50, 60 and 65k respectively and £50k is my max budget. I’ve always wanted one but the drop top really did nothing for me in the metal.

I need to go see a coupe and see if I feel the same way. Most importantly I need to take one for a drive.

Bugger it. You’re only here once. I’m going to up my budget and look at the 5.2 V10 plus.
